Dessert Cream

 

This recipe is gluten, soy, dairy, corn, egg free!

(gf, sf, df, cf, ef)

 

Ingredients:

3/4 cup cashews (soaked for 1 hr in hot water)

3 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp cinnamon

dash of cardamom

1/4 cup filtered water (add in little bits as you go)

 

Directions:

  1. Drain cashews & put into food processor.

  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Add in the water slowly while blending to get the consistency you want. You do not want this to be too runny. You may not need all the water.

  3. Blend everything until mostly smooth.

  4. Keeps well in the fridge for a few days.

  5. Can add this to apple crumble as the picture shows! I make a chunky apple sauce and use as the filling.
